Student Hannah Robbins received unexpected news as part of National Work Experience Week when her work placement led to an offer of permanent role with Littleport agency, Emerald Frog Marketing.

National Work Experience Week, which took place from 12th-16th October, is a week dedicated to raising awareness of the benefits of high quality work experience. Run by national charity Fair Train, National Work Experience Week is a chance for organisations to showcase the positive work they are doing and help raise the quantity of high quality work experience placements.

Hannah, an English Literature student at Anglia Ruskin University, joins the Emerald Frog Marketing team as Marketing Assistant, responsible for marketing administration at the agency whilst continuing with her degree.

Jo Evans, Director at Emerald Frog Marketing said: “Taking part in National Work Experience week, we joined other businesses across the country to give opportunities to young people to gain valuable experience. Hannah really impressed us during the programme with her natural talent for marketing, attention to detail and creative approach. We are delighted that she accepted our offer to join the Emerald Frog Marketing team on a more permanent basis”.

Hannah said “When Emerald Frog Marketing made me an offer to join their company I was in a state of shock and disbelief. It was what I’d been searching for since I started my degree: a fantastic opportunity. I’ve worked so hard to get here, and it encourages me to keep going. It goes to show, if you consistently seek out opportunities and work hard, you will get to where you want to be.”
