Advantages of events
Hosting your own customer event or attending an industry exhibition can be a great way to communicate with your customers.
It can increase your contacts considerably as hundreds of people may visit the show in a day.
It can raise awareness of your brand / products / services across the marketplace
Great PR that you can use in the trade press and its also good to blog / tweet about too!
Disadvantages of events
Can be expensive for stand space, graphics not to mention staffing, accommodation, travel expenses and time out of the office!
