Emerald Frog Marketing recently delivered marketing training to national wildlife charity, Froglife, at Peterborough Cathedral.
The training day is part of “The Scale of the Problem”, a one year project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Through the project we worked with Froglife to gather information through surveys, vox pops and focus groups to evaluate how people perceive amphibians and reptiles, the extent of their potential image problem (when compared with animals that are seen as more appealing or cute). We’ve helped Froglife develop different ways of talking about the animals to encourage more people to care about frogs, toads, newts, snakes and lizards to ultimately increase the Froglife membership base.
The day included the market research findings and key trends, perceptions and image research, group workshops and discussions to gain insight into the issues, shape messaging and create future campaign ideas.
Kathy Wormald, Froglife’s Chief Executive Officer said: “Emerald Frog has helped Froglife enormously in setting its direction for recruiting more supporters. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Emerald Frog and it was great to work with a company that had such a clear understanding of the charitable sector and the challenges that we face”.
Communications Officer at Froglife, Sam Taylor emailed us to say: “I just wanted to say thanks again for a brilliant day yesterday – it was really fun, informative, well planned and left us with loads of ideas”.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable day and look forward to working again with FrogLife soon!
