Cambridge Business Club and The Inspired Group are joining forces for a forthcoming charity event with Dame Evelyn Glennie. Please see the press release below for details of how to obtain your tickets for this money raising and inspirational event:
World famous musician and local resident Dame Evelyn Glennie will be teaching Cambridgeshire business leaders the importance of listening in an inspirational talk on Entrepreneurial Spirit on September 29th.
Dame Evelyn, who lost her hearing when she was twelve years old and went on to achieve international acclaim as a musician, will illustrate her talk with music, including a performance on one of the world’s oldest musical instruments, the marimba.
Some of the charities to benefit from this event include two supported by Dame Evelyn; the East Anglian Children’s Hospice and Able Child Africa.
The event is from 6pm – 9pm on 29th Sept at the Cambridge Cancer Help Centre based at Scotsdales, Great Shelford.
Tickets are £25 for regular tickets and £20 for Business Club and Inspired Group members and includes a superb Italian supper. To book your ticket go to www. listeninginbusiness.

Evelyn is called ‘world class’ because she is. I know I’m really looking forward to this event and to hearing Evelyn speak.
It’s great you are mentioning this, as this event will be good for local businesses owners, a must see.
