We are proud to announce we will be speaking at the Cambridge Business Mums Conference in February 2011!

Set up by Mums Business Club (Cambridge), this Conference is the first in the region dedicated to mums who run their own business. Anybody who is a mum running their business is invited along to this Conference.

The Conference will be packed with inspirational speakers, workshops, seminars, exhibitions and refreshments, including a superb lunch.

Jo Evans from Emerald Frog Marketing will be running the seminar “Low Cost, High Impact Marketing” to help mumpreneur small businesses and start-ups get up and running quickly. This session will give you ideas of promotions and marketing techniques that can be achieved for little, or no, outlay.

Jo co-owns Emerald Frog Marketing, a marketing consultancy of two mumpreneurs who plan, manage and deliver creative marketing campaigns to boost businesses. With 17 years of marketing management behind them, Emerald Frog Marketing was established shortly after both partners had babies and decided to strike out and go solo. Many of the hints and tips in this seminar are drawn from experience – by keeping overheads low they had broken even in less that six weeks and now have clients from large construction companies and local authorities through to one-woman cake businesses and beauticians.

Being passionate about all things green (hence the name) they try to make their marketing solutions as environmentally friendly as possible – by recommending greener alternatives and reducing waste in marketing communications. Not only does this help improve businesses’ carbon footprints but it also keeps down marketing costs for their customers too.
